The Industry Programme & Projects (IP&P) at NID Interface design knowledge, education and varied segments of industry, commerce and service sectors. The programme is offered to serve the Indian Industry through sharing of NID's design education, knowledge, skills, research, innovation and culture.

IP&P conducts short duration programme/workshops to create awareness and sensitize the participants (Professionals, Organizations and Institutions) to the role of design and its contribution in translating innovative ideas/concepts/technology into market success, by developing a holistic approach of design process to utilize it as a strategic tool.

Workshop Calendar for the year 2008

National Institute of Design internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary design institute of the country is pleased to announce a series of Design Workshops in the new thrust areas of strategic design opportunities. These focused design workshops will be conducted at the lush-green campus of NID, Ahmedabad, by the experienced faculty and other distinguished design professionals and experts. The workshops will expose the participants to the process of translating innovative ideas through design and developing them into marketable products. All in all, these programmes will establish a design link between product and market, besides the use of design as a strategic tool for staying ahead in a fiercely competitive market scenario.
