Saurabh Srivastava

Saurabh Srivastava is an Associate Faculty in New Media
Design at NID Gandhinagar. After working for threeand-
a-half years in the industry, designing advertising
products, and teaching subjects related to information
technology and photography at the Asian School of
Media Studies in Noida, Saurabh joined NID as Trainee
Faculty under the Faculty Development Programme in
2007.
Saurabh, who holds master’s degrees in Computer
Applications and Information Technology, teaches
Graphical User Interface Design Principles, Interactive
Media, and Still and Video Tools for Research at NID.
He has done some projects on robotics and photography
(2.5D Animation, 3D Photographs, photo essays on
topics ranging from jewellery to the life of a labourer
and so on). Saurabh has also been involved in projects
on ergonomics for craft clusters in Jaipur and has
coauthored three research papers published in journals
such as Work; HFESA Journal of Ergonomics, Australia;
and The Design Journal.
