NID organises Industry Interface bi-annually to provide a strategic platform for the prospective employer and students to meet, wherein the employer can identify suitable candidates for full time recruitment and for Degree project.
Industry Interface 2022 is a centralised event conducted for students across 3 campuses. Considering the prevailing pandemic situation we have conducted the drive as an online event scheduled from 3rd February to 8th February, 2022.
We had a participation of 124 companies across various sectors of the economy. The different sectors are FMCG, Automotive, Textile, Apparel, Games, IT sector, lifestyle, Education, Jewellery, Baggage, Electronics, Advertising, Entertainment, Studios, Fashion brands, Furniture, Start-ups, etc.
This event also creates awareness among the industries / firms / studios/ NGOs. / Govt. Sector / MSMEs about NID and its various modes of operations. Students are encouraged to pursue opportunities in areas such as social communication, service sectors; technology enhanced learning, craft, Experiential Design, etc.
There is a significant increase of more than 50% in new companies visiting the campus. This year we have a good participation of new companies from varied sectors.
