Design Development Workshop for Water Hyacinth Products was organised by Outreach prorammes, at NID, Ahmedabad for 25 artisans/craft persons of Northeastern States, sponsored by the North Eastern Development Finance Corp. Ltd and North Eastern Council.
Workshop was aimed to motivate traditional craft persons in experimenting with new forms and products to keep pace with the changing times. It is an attempt to enhance the quality of life and economic standard of these rural families through design intervention initiatives.
