Balaji Rengarajan has been associated with NID as a full time faculty since 2011. He holds a master’s degree in Automotive Design from Coventry University, UK and bachelor’s degrees in Automobile Engineering & Physics. He had worked with Bajaj Auto Ltd, TATA Motors Design Studio and Revolution Motors (a California-based EV start up), ITESM- Campus Monterrey, Mexico (as a professor Industrial Design) before joining NID.

He is passionate about mentoring the students on design conceptualisation/ideation/representation and prototyping  & emphasises on human centered design.
