NID and ATIRA signed a Unique Memorandum of Understanding for achieving synergistic development in the areas of Natural Fibres and Composites on 5th Jan. 2018. The new platform will provide for sharing of knowledge and infrastructure facility between the institutes for the research, development & students activity, in the form of Materials & Product Innovation Centre (MAPIC) at ATIRA. The collaboration leverages the strength of current programs in both the institutes-mainly the transformational research in natural fibre, industrial product, automobile, railway, advanced composite materials and innovative design capability of respective in MAPIC.
