Technology allows personalising learning, building capacity of teachers and driving decisions based on real-time data through effectively integrating technology in the design education system. 

The main objective of the IT Centre at NID is to improve quality of education, research, teaching and learning by providing technology-enabled learning solutions. A virtual network has been created by interconnecting the three campuses of NID-Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru. The campuses are connected with National Knowledge Network, a state-of-the-art multi-gigabit pan-India network, withapproximately3500 Giga speed computer network spread over the campuses.

The IT Centre translates institute’s IT needs into system solutions, making maximum use of available IT tools and ensuring longer term supportability of the IT architecture. The IT Centre facilitates its workstations with high-end design software amongst other facilities like printing, scanning etc.
