Expression of Interest (EOI) Empanelment of Publishers for Design Publications and Expression of Interest
The National Institute of Design (NID), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputed national and international publishing houses for empanelment and long-term collaboration in publishing design-oriented books and knowledge resources.
NID has been a pioneer in design education, research, innovation, and documentation for over six decades. Through this initiative, the Institute seeks to partner with experienced publishers for the publication, production, marketing, and distribution of high-quality works authored by NID faculty, researchers, students, alumni, and experts in the fields of design and allied disciplines.
The collaboration shall include the publication of academic books, research monographs, exhibition catalogs, conference proceedings, craft documentation, journals, coffee-table books, e-books, translated editions, or other design-related publications. The selected publishers will be expected to support editorial development, production, printing, marketing, and national and international distribution.
Interested publishers must be legally registered entities with a proven track record in academic, design, art, architecture, or related publishing and should possess adequate editorial, production, marketing, and distribution capabilities.
Last date for submission of EOI: 17/09/ 2026.
