On Thursday, 25th September 2025, the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, actively participated in the nationwide campaign “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath: Nationwide Voluntary Shramdaan” under the aegis of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
As part of the initiative, NID Ahmedabad conducted a one-hour Cleanliness Drive across all three campuses, with students and employees jointly cleaning identified neglected areas to ensure visible improvement in hygiene. The drive was followed by the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming the commitment to cleanliness and a sustainable environment. This collective effort contributed to the national mission of “Swachhata Hi Seva” while reinforcing the values of social responsibility and community participation.
